Maternity benefit means

Compensation on Death

After continuous 2 years working. 30 days average basic per 1 year or more than 6 months for natural death in service period. 45 days average basic per 1 year or more than 6 months for while working time or  accidental reason in working area and this money shall be in addition to the retirement
benefit to which the deceased worker would have been entitled had he retired from
service. [ last 12 months average basic * years]

After confirmation of  working. 14 days notice for other worker. 30 days notice for temporary worker in case monthly wages paid worker.  60 days notice for permanent
worker. Resign compensation [{14 days average basic wages per year ( 5>year>10)},        {30 days average basic wages per year ( 10>year>25)}] or gratuity (if any) which ever higher.

Completion of 60 years of his age or after completion of 25 years of service. Retirement compensation [45 days basic wage * years] or gratuity (if any) which ever higher. This compensation shall
be in addition to any other benefit payable.

Gratuity

“Gratuity” means the wages of at least 30 (thirty) days, at the rate of the wages a worker received last, for every completed year of his service or for a period of his service exceeding 06(six) months or, in the case of his service of more than 10 (ten) years, the wages of 45 (forty five) days at the rate of the wages he received last, which is payable to such worker on the termination of his employment. Gratuity [{30 days last received basic wages per year or six months more (1>year>10)},  {45 days last received basic wages per year or six months more ( 10>year)}]

N.B. : Last 12 months average basic wage is less than last received basic wage. To avoid any controversy last received basic wage can be used as a best practice.
